The Sky is not Blue

Installation. Swedish raw linnen dyed in organic woad and Indigo. On the floor wool dip-dyed in organic slow indigo and woad vat.

I am intrigued by fibres and their properties and how they absorb Colour and Light

For this work, I have used Swedish raw linen and dyed it with an organic fermentation process to dye blue.  The work has expanded and in the installation in Ronneby Kulturcentrum, I had over 200 of these blue spinning works.
